Robert is a documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. He has been a long time wanderer since before he had a choice in the matter.  Robert was born in Japan, raised in Los Angeles, and now lives in Brooklyn. He went to law school at Yale and had a brief career as an international trade lawyer in Washington DC before diving into the MFA program at USC CNTV. Since then he’s worked on community-based documentaries. He also consults for foundations, and serves as the board chair of Global Action Project, a fantastic youth media organization in NYC.
